How cool is this!

The "Worlds First SILICONE FREE    Colour Adaptive BB Cream"
                                   By REN.

Some other natural cosmetics that I've tried in the past, which have claimed to do a similar thing to what Ren is trying to achieve with this product, have often dried quite tight on the skin.  Or as I've started to blend the product into my face, its started to create bits and develop a very weird texture. So I was a little dubious before trying this product...

However!  Ren's BB cream is extremely comfortable to wear and for someone who loves cycling but still wants to look a little bit pretty on those shorter bike rides (So vain!), this has come in really handy!
Plus it contains spf 15, brilliant for those shorter spates of time in the sun

This product I believe is going to be really useful for the "make-up transition" into autumn from summer.  When you're not quite ready to say hello to your paler winter foundation but want to tone what's left of your summer freckles or tan. With a little blush/bronzer and a dab or 2 of concealer, you're skin is dressed and ready to be seen!

What Ren say...

  • Skin looks satin smooth, matte and flawless

  • Corrects imperfections

  • Protects against UV damage

  • Revitalizes and boosts radiance

  • Skin looks firmer and more toned

I wouldn't say that it 'matified' my skin in the way a powder or matifying gel would.  It also didn't dry it out like a cement mask either!

It did reduce some of my shine and it calmed down the redness too.
It gave a refreshing feel to the skin and I could feel it trying to tell my pores, in a gentle way, to tighten up and look sharp! I was impressed.

On my camera's LCD screen, you could really see how Ren BB cream had calmed down the redness in my skin.  However I'm not sure you can see the difference that well now I've uploaded the images...grrrr!
Please let me know if you have trouble spotting the difference on your screen.  The cream used in the images was a trial size but I've since put in an order for a normal size one, so when it arrives I'll take another pic.

Here are a few images of the before and after application of...

In a Nutshell

  • Comfortable.
  • Toning feel on the skin when its applied.
  • Peachy colour that pretty much disappears/blends in to the skin.
  • Calms down the shine and redness and replaces that with a more healthy/clean look to the skin.
  • Not iridescent or glittery.

Hope that review helps, especially if you've been in two minds whether to treat yourself to a bottle or not...
